Last 26 September was the second time the English Bilingual Programmes celebrated the European Day of Languages. All the groups took part in different activities whose purpose was to help our students be aware of the importance of languages and cultural diversity in Europe, which must be preserved and fostered. They were also encouraged to learn several foreign languages, which will help them in the future.
Among the most significant activities the following are included:
- surfing the net in order to get as much information as possible about this important day,
- working with worksheets dealing with different languages spoken in Europe
- speaking activities about why and how we should learn foreign languages.
The conclusions were displayed on the English Bilingual Programmes notice board.
